Karapan Sapi Madura<\/strong> is a traditional<\/a> bull racing competition that originated from Madura Island, East Java, Indonesia. Each race lasts between 10 seconds and one minute, making it fast-paced and exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The races are held annually, mainly from August to September. The grand final is usually held in Pamekasan, Madura, by late September or October, where racers compete for the prestigious Presidential Trophy. Originally, the goal of the race was to identify the strongest bulls for plowing the fields. Over time, this evolved into a festive annual event. All bull pairs race in duels to separate winners and losers into two groups. Both groups continue to the next round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Re-selection Round<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Pairs from both the winner and loser groups race again within their own groups. Only the top-performing pairs from each group advance to the semifinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
