The initial construction of this mosque has a long and winding history. But after a long time. The construction of the mosque was finally completed and inaugurated by the then President of Indonesia Soeharto in 1978.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entering the inside of the mosque, we will be presented with typical architecture of <a href=\"https:\/\/helloindonesia.id\/category\/indonesia\/kalimantan\/west-kalimantan\/\">West Kalimantan<\/a>. One of which is the number of pillars supporting the mosque. The mosque which is able to accommodate around 9 thousand worshipers has a two-story building with a building area of \u200b\u200babout 60 meters X 60 meters on an area of \u200b\u200babout 4 hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Masjid Raya Mujahiddin is located in the center of Pontianak City and is the center of da&#8217;wah in the city nicknamed the Equatorial City. The pride mosque of Pontianak residents is visited by taraweh prayers, Eid prayers and Friday prayers.
