Helloindonesia.id<\/strong> – This waterfall<\/a> is said to be a miniature Niagara Falls in the United States. Having a height of about 20 meters and a width of 8 meters, this waterfall is very different from the waterfalls <\/a>that exist in Indonesia in general. This is Riam Merasap Waterfall, a waterfall located in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Towards this waterfall <\/a>is not easy and a little challenging. From Pontianak this waterfall <\/a>is about 300 Km away and can be reached using two-wheeled vehicles or four-wheeled vehicles. When using the bus, the journey takes about 8 hours by going through the route Pontianak – Pinyuh – Anjungan – Toho – Karangan – Bengkayang – Sanggau Ledo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 
If you are in Singkawang City, the distance that must be taken to get to the Waterfall which is located in Located in Dawar Hamlet, Pisak Village, District of Seven Belas, is around 130 Km using four-wheeled vehicles. Once entering the waterfall <\/a>location, visitors must be a little careful because it is a bit steep and slippery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But once you look closely at the charm of this waterfall, our eyes are spoiled with the beautiful view of the waterfall that falls from a height of about 20 meters. Not to mention the view of the green trees surrounding the waterfall adds to the cool atmosphere. The existence of the Maria Cave above the waterfall makes the Riam Merasap Waterfall<\/a> always visited by Catholics on the celebration of major holidays, especially before the month of Rosaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name Riam Peresap Waterfall comes from giving people who see a lot of foam that comes out of this waterfall drops that at first glance resembles smoke. Every rainy season arrives around October or during heavy rains, these froths will be seen. According to legend, it is said that in this waterfall <\/a>there is a diamond the size of an adult human’s fist guarded by a white turtle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
