Visitors can see typical animals <\/a>that live in the forest and one of the most interesting ones is the existence of the proboscis monkey, a highly protected endemic species typical of Kalimantan. What makes the proboscis monkey unique from other types of monkeys is its long nose, which is why it is nicknamed the “Dutch monkey”. Proboscis monkeys tend to live freely, like to hang from trees and are very agile in swinging from one tree to another.
