This valley is called the Bada Valley, about 145 km from Poso City or about a five hour road trip through the mountains in Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi. The Bada Valley, also known as the Napu Valley, has a beautiful landscape. The beautiful scenery can be seen from the vast expanse of the savanna as far as the eye can see. The statues in the Bada Valley are believed to date back to the 14th century. The existence of this long-standing site shows that there was once a great civilization in this region. Many researchers have come to Bada Valley to find out the whereabouts of these statues. But until now, the reason for making these statues is a mystery.
