Every year on April 30, Indonesia commemorates the National Day of Public Information Disclosure (HAKIN). This important day reminds all elements of the nation about the people’s right. To access honest, accurate, and transparent information from public institutions. The commemoration stems from the ratification of Law Number 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure. Signed on April 30, 2008, by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and officially enforced on April 30, 2010.
