One of them is Dato Beach, Majene. The beach which is located in Pangale Hamlet, Baurung Sub-District, East Banggae Subdistrict, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province presents a cool natural landscape. Simply by using a private vehicle or public vehicle commonly called pete-pete, the trip to Dato Beach, which is about seven kilometers from the City of Majene, only takes approximately fifteen minutes. The ease of access to this one tourist attraction makes Dato Beach a choice for locals and tourists visiting the Majene region, West Sulawesi.

Dato Beach

The beach of Dato Majene has two parts of the beach where there is a beach with white sand and a beach with coral reefs. On this beach, there are rocks of considerable size that are equipped with stairs so that visitors who want to enjoy the view from the rock can easily ride it. Visitors will be spoiled with a view of the color of the sea from Dato Majene Beach graded from dark blue hinggu green from above this rock. If you are not satisfied just by enjoying the charm from above, visitors can also do snorkeling or just swim on the beach to feel the fresh sea water of Dato Beach directly.

Around Dato Beach there are already several lodging facilities that can be an option for visitors who want to spend the night in the coastal area. In addition to the beauty of the beach, Majene regional culinary tourism in the form of flying fish and a thousand fish is also a must-try when visiting this region. Every year from August to September on Dato Beach there is an event called Sandeq Race which is a Sandeq boat race event which is a typical boat of the Mandar Tribe. Relaxing for a moment on Dato Beach can be an alternative choice to just unwind by feeling firsthand the tranquility around the beach.
