Sinka Island Park, a combination of beach and zoo

Sinka Island Park is an integrated tourist area that has the charm of an unspoiled beach and there is also the Sinka Zoo zoo. The beach on Sinka Island has the characteristics of rocks around the beach area. The clear sea water with relatively calm waves makes the beach in Sinka Island Park become one of the Singkawang residents’ favorite.

Sinka Zoo

Uniquely, Sinka Island Park visitors can enjoy the view of the beach by riding a delman that can be rented around the tourist area in the province of West Kalimantan. Besides enjoying the beach, visitors here can also enjoy other supporting facilities such as swimming pools. Tired of activities, visitors can enjoy a variety of culinary dishes that are appetizing.

Sinka Zoo

Bored with the beach atmosphere, visitors can also visit Sinka Zoo which is still in the Sinka Island Park area. Sinka Zoo is a zoo that has a hilly topography and is one of the most popular arenas in the region. At first glance, the concept owned by Sinka Zoo is almost similar to Taman Safari Indonesia. Here, visitors can walk around the zoo by car while looking at the collection of animals owned by Sinka Zoo such as albino buffalo and deer.

Sinka Zoo has a collection of several species of animals such as around 137 animals, about 117 mammals and 30 reptiles. The total collection of Sinka Zoo is around 275. Some types of animals that are here are tigers, elephants, lions, giraffes, gibbons, sun bears, parrots, peacocks, snakes, monkeys, and orangutans.
