Pempek Bake, Spicy Mini Hamburger

Helloindonesia.id – Empek-empek or pempek is a typical culinary community of Palembang, South Sumatra. Many types of pempek can be enjoyed. One of them is grilled pempek.

Pempek

As the name implies, this type of pempek is processed by baking or baking. The shape is round and there is a cleft in the middle. The shape of the food is similar to a mini-sized hamburger.

It’s just that the grilled pempek doesn’t use meat and vegetables as a complement – as in hamburgers. Chili sauce with a spicy-sweet taste to fill in the gap Pempek grilled.

The spicy-sweet sauce used is made from a mixture of cayenne pepper, sweet soy sauce, and ebi (small shrimp). All of these ingredients are processed into one.

Pempek is presented in a fairly simple way. Pempek which has been boiled and given sago then roasted for about 2-3 minutes. After that, pempek is given chili in the middle which has been split.

Grilled pempek can also be served with vinegar (cuko) for those who like it. Grilled pempek is a mini hamburger with a spicy taste.
