Why Do We Celebrate National Children’s Day on July 23?
Every year on July 23, Indonesia commemorates National Children’s Day (Hari Anak Nasional) to raise awareness of the importance of child protection and rights fulfillment. This date was chosen to mark the enactment of the Child Welfare Law on July 23, 1979, later reinforced by Presidential Decree No. 44 of 1984.
