The most fundamental reason is the growing concern over the spread of hoaxes and fake news in the media. Over time, it seems like negative news about Indonesia dominates the narrative, creating a one-sided and unfavorable image—especially to those outside the country.
That’s why I decided to launch HelloIndonesia—a platform dedicated to highlighting the positive side of our beloved nation. This site features inspiring content about Indonesian youth creativity, stunning tourist destinations, education, rich cultural traditions, and local arts.
We also provide a public contribution form so anyone can share interesting stories about their regions—whether it’s a unique travel experience, cultural tradition, or local event.
