Spend a Day at Ambon's Best Beaches
The warm morning sun shines in the sky and reflects in the blue gradations of the Ambon sea. The wind was rustling cool offset the piercing rays of the sun and blowing softly the beautiful stretch of white sand. The shade of the trees also helps shade the day which seems to be getting hotter. In fact, the sounds of birds calling together enlivened the morning atmosphere blending in with the main beauty of Hunimua Beach or better known as Liang Beach.
Liang Beach is the belle of the many beaches on Ambon Island. This beach is located in the village of Liang, which is approximately 40 kilometers from downtown Ambon and takes less than an hour by motorized vehicle. This beach is famous for the beauty of its ecosystem which is still beautiful, clean and beautiful. The green of the trees blends with the long expanse of white sand. Not to mention that the sea is very clean so that the color gradations of its depth are clearly visible starting from the light blue shoreline to the deep blue-green sea.
Liang Beach is usually crowded on weekends or holidays and is one of the main destinations for Ambonese to spend their leisure time with family or friends. Indeed, this beach does not have many tourist facilities, but the shade and beauty of Liang Beach will make anyone reluctant to move quickly when they set foot here. Especially if you already feel the cool sea water of Liang Beach which is very special, because it is not sticky like salty water in general and the water temperature feels refreshingly cool.
Liang Beach is managed by residents around Liang Village and tourists only need to pay a small fee to visit it. On weekends or holidays, local residents usually open food stalls or sell young coconuts at quite affordable prices. In fact, tourists don’t even have to worry about toilets because they are already available in several corners of the beach area. The most recommended time to visit Liang Beach is in the morning when the sun just publishes its beauty.
On one part of Liang Beach, there is a beautiful pier which is very beautiful to be captured in photos. In the past, the pier was indeed used to dock ships, but because it was long enough and in inadequate condition, it was simply abandoned on the shore of Liang Beach. But obsolete items are not forever useless, the pier now actually has an interesting artistic value and is a favorite angle for taking pictures at Liang Beach. Not only that, tourists can jump directly from this pier to enjoy the cool sea water of Liang Beach.
The wind that blows increasingly hints at the comfort of Liang Beach. The trees seemed to dance to the rhythm of this wind. During the day Liang Beach is getting hotter, but its beauty will not diminish. The shade of the beach, which was named the most beautiful beach in Indonesia in 1990 by the United Nations (United Nations), will always be maintained by local wisdom owned by residents around Liang Beach. The silence, the soft sand and the blue sea water of Ambon will always welcome anyone who comes and makes them fall in love with Liang Beach at first sight.
